Name of Park is not accurate
The Park is called "Washington State Park" and is also known by some as Sunset Beach. I am from Anacortes and have lived there over 13 years.
You can get to this park by following 12th Avenue west from downtown Anacortes which then turns into Oaks Avenue and dead ends into the park. Approximate driving time from downtown to this park is 10 minutes.
Name of Park
I did some research on this and found that the park is actually called "Washington Park." It is managed by the City of Anacortes and not the State of Washington as a state park. There is a 73-site campground within the park. More information is available here:
