No More Dumping at Rest Stops???

I was told that the dump station at the rest stops would not be opened due to the state budget...Anybody else hear this or know when they will open?

Dump Stations

I'm unable to confirm this. I've checked the Washington State Department of Transportation web site and haven't seen any press releases announcing dump station closures. Numerous dump stations are subject to closure in winter due to freezing. I did find that a new dump station has been constructed at the Scatter Creek Rest Area on I-5 (MM 90) in January, 2009.
