North Carolina Interstate 40

Interstate 40 in North Carolina runs east to west for 420 miles from Wilmington to the Tennessee state line. Part of it is also I-85. Eastbound travelers should read up the chart. Westbound travelers read down the chart.

208 NC 1850 / Sandy Ridge Rd / Colfax

I-40 and I-85 run together / follows I-85 numbering
150 Jimmie Kerr Rd / Haw River
  Flying J Travel Plaza, 1043 Jimmie Kerr Rd, 336-578-2427, Free.
Latitude: 36.0713 Longitude: -79.3530

    Comments: Dump station is on the right entering the Travel Plaza. You must travel behind the gas island (clockwise) in front of the store and enter the dump station from the left for a driver's side utility area.

Flying J dump stations no longer free...

Since being purchased by Pilot, Flying J started charging last fall up to 10.00 to dump.
