Interstate 20 in Louisiana runs east to west for 189 miles from the Mississippi state line to the Texas state line. Eastbound travelers should read up the chart. Westbound travelers read down the chart.

(95) Tremont Rest Area (eastbound)

The rv dump at this rest area is closed. LADOTD has plans to build new restroom facilities here and will repair the rv dump at that time. It's not know when this will happen. The Tremont westbound rest area nearby is in the process of having new restrooms built and is scheduled to reopen sometime in March 2011 and the rv dump there will be operable.

This rest area has been closed since July 2010 in order to build new restroom facilities and of course the rv dump has not been accessible to the public since that time. However, the restrooms are nearing completion and the rest area is scheduled to reopen sometime in March 2011.
