Woodford State Fish & Wildlife Area is located on State Rt 26 and can be reached from either I-80 from the north or I-74 from the south. From I-80, take I-39 south for approximately 25 miles to State Rt 17 west for 20 miles to Lacon. Than take State Rt 26 south for 10 miles. The entrance is on the right and is well signed.
From I-74 at East Peoria, take State Rt 116 north for 5 miles to State Rt 26 north for 15 miles. The entrance is on the left and is well signed.

Dump site is located at the entrance of the park not far from your turn off from Route 26. The dump site at Woodford is very seldom used. Has both black and fresh water spigots available. Black water spigot is threaded so you can hook up to back flush your system. There is a fee for dumping if there's someone available to collect.
